Baby Butt...

Must be Spring because I want to make Baby cards!!.. ( even though we had that incredible Nor'Easter yesterday!!)...
This was actually a very simple card...Used my Standard Large Circle Nestabilities to create a Shaped-Card..outlining it with a small punched circle border..then stamped...coloured and paper-pieced the focal images..Cut a banner to fit the sentiment and card and Voila!!

Happy Birthday (3)...

Outlining the matting and flames in black really makes them pop....

These are great colours for a guy or girl....

I used an flower stamp to create the radiant glow from the candle...

I hand drew the flame and fussy cut the inside of each flame from corresponding cardstock...

I added some glitter to the flower and flame and some glossing accents to the orange part of the flame..

I wanted to show a friend of mine how easy it is to create a handmade card with very few supplies..she is intimidated with anything crafty and I think she is missing out on a lot of fun...!!

Happy Easter (2)...

Now I can add basket weaving to my crafts!! hee hee

Gave this a bit more of a vintage look with some distress inking...

A little jute adds a little "sumthin sumthin" to the basket...

Butterflies always add a bit of whimsy to any card...

After yesterday's snow storm I was MORE than ready to make an Easter/Spring Card!! I have an older Creative Memories cutting template for my eggs..unfortunately they have filed a Chapter 11 so this product is not available anymore...
The basket was fun and easy to make, the grass easy to cut.. no lawnmower necessary!! hee hee
All in all... an enjoyable card to create...

White Flowers Card...

I really like this "Half Door-Front" Card so much I made another one...I haven't added a stamped sentiment yet because it could be an Anniversary or even a Wedding Card..
I also really like a monochromatic style card, especially when there is a lot of texture.. in this case by layering flowers, using  embossing folders and a Distressed Doily Die on the inside of the card..
Heck... I might even make another one!! hee hee

Happy Birthday (2)...

I originally saw this design by Dawn who is a Stampin' Up distributor..since I didn't have their stamps, I used my punches and a few twists of my own...I love it! hee hee

Since the front of this card is so short, I placed the sentiment on the inside..

I kept the flowers flat on the inside to minimize the bulk....

Rolling the smaller flowers gives such a nice dimension..

Added some tiny tags, butterflies and hearts..along with some glossy accents to help them pop more...

This almost like a Dutch Door style card...which was a lot of fun to create..I was totally inspired by Dawn5377 on YouTube..She's a lot of fun to watch and keeps things simple ( which REALLY works for me!! hee hee)
